I bought 43 accounts and received some training through them. I did all kinds of different specialized advertising and doubled my route every year until I sold about 300 residential and commercial accounts in 2004. I obtained my CPO certification on August 26 2001 with the late Bailey Prowell CPO Registration 33-115832 I received my Broward County Swimming Pool and Spa Service License in February of 2002. CC-10531-SP-X I obtained the title of CPOI , Certified Pool Operator Instructor, from the National Swimming Pool Foundation. NSPF.org in February of 2003 33-101010. This is the highest professional designation in the swimming pool industry. I have educated thousands of clients through the CPO course and specialized classes. The class most requested is the dry chemical class which shows service techs how to maintain a residential swimming pool for about $1 per week. I sold all of my pool routes in July of 2004 and started a wholesale distribution store in the same warehouse I was storing all of my service chemicals & vehicles in Coconut Creek. I grew the wholesale distribution company and in 2007 I opened a 2nd location in Lake Worth, Florida. I sold the store in Coconut Creek in October 2007 and the Lake Worth store in March of 2008. I have consulted with other distribution companies, service companies, and manufacturers in their startup, operation , & growth through education and experience. I have written a textbook and a course for Goldcoast School www.goldcoastschools.com to assist people in obtaining licensing for the State & County Commercial & Residential builders along with Swimming Pool & Spa Service contractors licenses. I also operate a Business Consulting company where I advise companies on how to resole their problems and open new doors for them, and ultimately making them more money with less stress. November 2008, I became the 1st person in the State of Florida to ever hold the highest professional swimming pool license, Certified Commercial pool Contractor CPC 1458035, along with the highest professional designation of National Swimming Pool Foundation Certified Pool Operator Instructor CPOI 33-101010 Starting in Jan 2009, I will be offering study guides, Continuing Education, and cram courses exclusively through Gold Coast Schools. In June of 2010 I started a monthly educational seminar program for anyone in the Swimming pool Industry on 5 topics.
